The Golden Stool

For The Golden Stool, or the story of Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Gorges Ocloo brings ten black women to the stage: the South-African soprano Nobulumko Mngxekeza-Nziramasanga mezzo-soprano Nonkululeko Nkwinti, accompanied by a choir of eight singers, dancers, and percussionists.
